Plexiglass AC panels
What are custom plexiglass AC panels?
Custom plexiglass AC panels are precision-cut acrylic panels designed to seal window openings for portable air conditioners. They replace traditional foam or plastic kits, providing a secure, durable, and aesthetic solution for venting your AC unit.
What do you need to create a custom plexiglass AC panel for me?
All we need is the height & width measurements for the plexiglass panel you’d like, along with the placement of the cut-out for your exhaust hole venting. Some plexiglass panels require notches to be cut out where there are handles or locks. We can cut these out as long as we know the placement. Download our step-by-step measuring guide here.
Once your order is placed, you can bring in your ac adapter along with your diagram or, email your diagram and include a photo of your adapter along with the make and model of your portable air conditioning unit.
How do I install the plexiglass panel for my portable air conditioner onto my window?
The easiest and least permanent solution is to use velcro and we include 6ft of it with your order!
You can add strips to the sides of your plexiglass panel as well as your window frame, and easily remove it once you’d like to put your portable AC away.
What types of windows do these panels work with?
Our plexiglass AC panels are designed for:

Do you make custom plexiglass panels for portable air conditioners that vent out of a sliding door?

What thickness of plexiglass do you use for making the custom plexiglass AC Panels?
We use a sturdy 3/16” or 4.5mm thickness so it won’t bend or break.
Will the panel block natural light?
No! Our panels are clear plexiglass, so they allow natural light to pass through, unlike traditional foam or plastic kits that block visibility.
Can I remove and store the panel when not in use?
Yes! The Velcro attachment makes it easy to detach and store your panel during cooler months.
Do you ship outside of Canada?
Yes! We ship across Canada and the USA. Contact us for international shipping inquiries. We custom-cut each panel in our Vancouver shop. Orders typically ship within 7-10 days from when you approve your design proof.
Can I return or exchange my panel?
Since each panel is custom-made, we do not accept returns. However, if there’s an issue with your order, let us know and we’ll work to make it right.
Plexiguard Barriers
How do I install my plexiguard?
The interlocking base easily attaches together to hold the plexiglass on each end. Use the double-sided tape provided at the bottom of each base and voila, you’re done! Watch this quick video on how to set up your plexiglass sneeze guard.
Is there Drilling or Hardware Required for Installation?
No hardware, no problem! We’ve made our plexiguards easy to install so you can use them on any surface without damaging it. Simply add the double-sided tape provided to the bottom of the bases to adhere to surfaces such wood, marble, granite, and glass.
How Thick is the Plexiglass?
We use a thicker 3/16” plexiglass for maximum protection & durability for all of our plexiguards.
Where are Your Plexiguards Made?
All of our plexiglass guards are proudly designed and fabricated in our Vancouver warehouse. We use local suppliers and to source the best material for the job. Our plexiguards are designed to look good and guard strong!
How do I clean my Plexiguard?
Use soap and water and a soft cloth to clean the bases and plexiglass piece or spray with a disinfectant and wipe off.
Do you provide custom sized plexiguards?
Yes we can cut and configure your plexiglass guard to fit any counter, reception desk, or office cubicle. Shoot us an email with a picture of your counter along with dimensions and we can provide a quote.
What is Your Turnaround Time?
Our turnaround is typically 5-7 days for local Vancouver pick-up and 7-9 days for delivery within Canada, from the time your order is placed. Orders to the US are 10-14 business days. Our turnaround is contingent on the supply of plexiglass which there is a shortage of within North America. Your order is placed into our production queue once you checkout. We don’t have any in stock due to the shortage of plexiglass and can accommodate the most amount of orders this way.
You’ll receive an email once your plexiguard has been completed with details about pick-up or shipping.
What is Your Refund Policy?
Because every single plexiguard is made-to-order, we begin prepping the materials and production times right away. If you don’t want to proceed with your paid order, we offer store credit and we can get started when you’re ready to go.
If you want to make changes to your size, please contact us within 24 hours and we’ll do our best to accommodate.
Sometimes mistakes happen and if you receive an incorrect or defective order, we’ll work quickly to get you a replacement.
How much is shipping?
We offer a free no-contact pick up from our warehouse and shipping within Canada. Use the checkout shipping calculator to see rates for your order.
You can check pricing to your location during checkout based on the size and quantity of your sneeze guard order. We ship with a Purolator overnight service as well as Loomis Express.
Do you ship to the US?
Yes we ship our Plexiguards to the US via DHL Priority.
